We began in Rome on June 18th and ended in Zurich on July12th. In between we attended Italian language classes, stayed in a wine-producing agriturismo, hiked around northern Italy, and paid a short but most enjoyable visit to Zurich, our first time there in many years. We met and traveled with old friends and made new ones; we explored the world of gelati, we ate wonderful meals; we drank outstanding and interesting wines; and of course, we experienced some of the best scenic wonders and cultural treasures available anywhere.
